Jagwire Elite Cooling brake pads feature lightweight aluminum cooling fins integrated into the backing plate to dissipate heat from the braking system and provide premium performance even under the toughest conditions.
High and prolonged heat is the knockout criterion for many disc brakes. It can cause glazing of the pads, sudden loss of braking power, or even overheating of the brake fluid.
With Elite Cooling brake pads, a graphene thermal transfer plate pulls heat away from the semi-metallic pad compound and the brake disc, redirecting it into the cooling fins for better air circulation. This prevents fading as well as warping of the disc rotor. So optimal functionality even on the steepest descents is ensured.
Note: Semi-metallic, sintered and E-Bike brake pads should not be used with brake discs designed exclusively for organic brake pads.
